This is the work created by me (the designer) at the Fifth “Design for Sitting” Competition. As an international original design competition with different theme for each session, the Fifth “Design for Sitting” Competition advocates the idea of experimental creation focused on the behavior of “sitting”. The Fifth session requires the contestants to create works focusing on the theme of “sitting and other behaviors” and to explore how to produce a work by combining sitting and other behaviors skillfully, e.g., “sitting and sleeping”, “sitting and working”, “sitting and eating”, “sitting and playing”.
